This is going to be a fun filled, productive year. Seriously, it is going to be awesome!!! But, in order to do our best learning, we need some school supplies.

Friday-Read a story with someone
In Language Arts, we will be starting Level 2 Unit 1 in Fundations which reviews Grade 1 skills. Elsewhere in Language Arts, we will be learning about subjects and predicates. Math finds us reviewing some skills from Grade 1 as well as beginning Chapter 1 on Addition and Subtraction Facts. Religion is all about reviewing the Sign of the Cross, the Our Father, and the Hail Mary. On the menu for Science is Chapter 1 on Living and Non Living Things. Social Studies is geography-continents and oceans.

Reminders:
Students may bring in an afternoon snack each day.
Remember to charge computers every night.
Make sure your child has some quiet reading books in school.
