In Religion, we are learning about the parts of the mass. In Language Arts, we will continue Fundations Unit 7, focusing on open syllables, Y as a vowel, and suffixes (y, ly, ty). Our current story is 'Jellies: The Life of Jellyfish' by Twig C. George. Grammar focus is verbs in the present, past and future. During Writer’s Workshop, students will continue learning about informational texts. In Math, we will continue Chapter 4 on Addition: Two-Digit Numbers. In Social Studies, we are learning about the principles of democracy.
