The Before Care Program allows for students to be dropped off as early as 6:30 a.m. There will be a Before Care staff member(s) on duty every morning. Students should bring snacks or easy items to consume for breakfast. Students will be able to read, use electronic devices, color and/or generally prepare for the start of the school day. Drop off is at Door #16, located at the end of the Middle Wing. Please click the registration form, print it, and submit it to Pat Tobino. Forms can be sent to school with your child. Please address the envelope to Pat Tobino EDP.

$8.00 per day FOR DROP OFF BETWEEN 6:30-7:00 AM
$5.00 per day FOR DROP OFF BETWEEN 7:01-7:29 AM
$6.00 per day FOR EARLY PREK DROP OFF BEWTEEN 7:30-8:00 AM
Discounted rates apply for prepaid monthly schedules.
Program
The St. Benedict Extended Day Program (EDP) includes before and aftercare and is intended to serve busy families who desire supplemental care in a Catholic environment. The staff strives to provide individual attention, consistency, and fair treatment for the children and to help them grow in maturity and self-respect, as well as to maintain an atmosphere wherein respect and understanding for others is realized. The Extended Day Program is available on days school is in session.
The program provides care, supervision, and enrichment activities. Some of the varied activities include inside and outside play, gym time, snack time, and quiet time.

After Care Hours: Dismissal (12:15 or 2:15)-6:00 pm

Homework
Per teacher request, homework in Kindergarten is to be completed at home with guidance from a parent or guardian. For students in grades 1 - 8, parents may inform staff if homework is to be started and/or completed by the child at After Care. Homework check and completion is the responsibility of the parent.
Snacks
Parents may provide a daily snack or children may purchase a snack using cash or their
"Meal Magic" account which is our Food System Service.
Early Dismissal
EDP is provided from dismissal to 6:00 pm. On a scheduled early dismissal day, parents may provide a lunch or purchase a lunch through their "Meal Magic" account which is our Food System Service.
Play Wear
Each child will need a change of clothes as outside activities are scheduled every day that weather permits. Please provide the appropriate outwear as the seasons change. All belongings must be labeled to ensure its return.
Change of Transportation
Notification of any change from After Care Pre-Paid Schedule to car/bus must be communicated with a note, at 8:00 AM, to the child's homeroom teacher. You can also submit an online TRANSPORTATION CHANGE on the website. Any changes on a full day MUST be communicated by 1:30PM. A call to the school office is required after 1:30 PM. On an Early Dismissal Day, an online change MUST be communicated by 11:30AM. A call to the school office is required after 11:30 AM. Text messages to your child are NOT ACCEPTABLE for a change of transportation.
BEFORE CARE DROP OFF AND AFTER CARE PICK UP
Before Care DROP OFF is at DOOR #16. Please drive past the front of the school and around to the back of the first wing. Please park in between Wing 1 and Wing 2. Door #16 is at the end of Wing 2. There is a doorbell to the upper left of the doors. To exit, please continue carefully around the back of the school. You will exit the property near the church and onto Bethany Road.
Aftercare PICK UP is at door #16. Follow the same instructions above for Before Care. You must enter the building to sign your child(ren) out. To exit, Please drive back towards the main parking lot and exit on Hillcrest Rd. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE AROUND TO THE BACK OF THE SCHOOL VIA THE SIDE OF THE PLAYGROUND.
LATE FEES
A $5 per child, per day late fee is applied for a pickup later than the scheduled time. The fee helps to cover the added expense for staff who are asked to stay longer.
