Grade 6 Community Service Form

Dear Parents of Eighth Grade Confirmation Candidates,

Thank you for your patience during the COVID19 shut down as we waited for directives to be able to make a decision to schedule your child’s Confirmation. Father Garry has decided that October is the best time to reschedule in hopes that some of the restrictions will be lifted by then.

We hope that your children had a meaningful experience preparing for the sacrament and have grown in their faith. Confirmation is meant to be the beginning of a lifelong faith journey that takes advantage of the grace found in the sacraments and shares a life filled with faith, hope and love with others.

Students in St. Benedict School will be confirmed on ​Thursday, October 1st. Due to restrictions the Sacrament of Confirmation will take place in two sessions. We will send letters for you to give to their schools for early dismissal. Class 8A will be confirmed at 2:00 p.m. and class 8B will be confirmed at 4:00 p.m.

Father Garry Koch, Pastor is officiating. Confirmation Rehearsal Gown Pick up will be announced closer to the date depending on gathering restrictions. Additional information will be provided at a later date.

Please remember that if you have not submitted paperwork, especially sponsor eligibility or the offering, please do so as soon as possible. If your sponsors are having trouble obtaining a letter, please call the office so that we can appoint a sponsor for the day. Please send paperwork to the Religious Education office, in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, by Friday, September 4, 2020 if you have not already done so.
